About Me
The Human Behind
Your Last Chapter
—— When my father-in-law was dying, no one knew how to talk about it. Out of fear and love, his family kept the truth from him. We thought we were protecting him, but what we really did was leave him alone in his final days. That experience changed everything for me.
I realized how unprepared we are to meet death with openness, how much suffering silence creates—and how different it could be when compassion, presence, and honest conversation are allowed to exisst, especially regarding the end of our life. I also felt the impact this had on us left behind: the regret, the unanswered questions, the feeling that something important had been missed.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my work to helping people approach death differently. I’ve trained as a Certified End-of-Life Doula with the International Doulagivers Institute and I am a licensed Willow End-of-Life Educator. I’m also an active hospice volunteer, continually learning from those at the bedside. My academic background in Psychology, and Child and Youth Work has deeply shaped how I support individuals and families through emotionally complex moments. I bring calm attention, respect, gentle guidance, and the understanding that one answer does not apply to all and we all deserve to have an end of life that reflect who we are, what we believe in and how we live our lives.
I live in Toronto, ON and offer support in English and Spanish, both in person across the GTA and virtually anywhere. I am originally from Colombia, and I’m deeply committed to making end-of-life care and education more accessible, especially within Spanish-speaking communities.
My work rests on a few simple beliefs:
- Death is part of life—natural, sacred, and deserving of care.
- Every person has the right to be the author of their own story, right to the end.
- Honest conversation brings peace to the living and the dying alike.
There’s nothing in this work for me but the privilege of being there — bearing witness and walking along with you to ensure your life and your death reflects who you are, your beliefs and your values.

My work is grounded in compassion, advocacy, and education—to help you approach death as a sacred, meaningful part of life.
